EZ-PD™ PAG1S CYPAS111 supports secondary-side controlled flyback design by pairing with EZ-PD™ PAG1P. The converter supports a quasi-resonance flyback converter for highly efficient USB-C adapters and chargers. EZ-PD™ PAG1S CYPD3184 is a highly integrated USB PD and SR secondary-side controller, and supports optocoupled-based primary PWM flyback design in QR/DCM mode for USB-C adapters and chargers.

EZ-PD™ PAG1S - CYPAS111 is a highly integrated USB PD, SR, and PWM secondary-side controller supporting quasi-resonance flyback converter for highly efficient SMPS. The PWM signals are sent to the primary side counterpart EZ-PD™ PAG1P through the pulse edge transformer (PET). For USB PD, the controller offers a highly programmable flash-based solution to meet the update-to-date PD3.1 specification with SPR PPS and EPR supported. For the hardware integration, EZ-PD™ PAG1S integrated 21.5V LDO, VBUS NFET gate driver, low-side current sense amplifier, low-side SR NFET gate driver with voltage doubler, and error amplifier. For fault protection, EZ-PD™ PAG1S supports VBUS OCP, SCP, OVP, UVP, OTP, and VBUS-CC short. EZ-PD™ PAG1S - CYPAS111 QR solution offers configurable digital valleys based on the line and load condition, dead-time, and switching frequency to meet up different design requirements.
EZ-PD™ PAG1S – CYPD3184 is a highly integrated USB PD and SR controller for a single port power adapter. For USB PD, the controller offers a highly programmable flash-based solution to meet the update-to-date PD3.1 specification with SPR PPS supported. For SR, EZ-PD™ PAG1S supports QR/DCM converter, voltage-second integration to avoid false turn-on, and switching frequency up to 150kHz. For the hardware integration, EZ-PD™ PAG1S integrated 21.5V LDO, VBUS NFET gate driver, low-side current sense amplifier, ADC, low-side SR NFET gate driver with voltage doubler, and error amplifier for optocoupler feedback. For fault protection, EZ-PD™ PAG1S supports VBUS OCP, SCP, OVP, UVP, OTP, and VBUS-CC short. EZ-PD™ PAG1 - CYPD3184 offers a highly programmable USB PD and SR controller to meet up different customer design requirements and specs.
EZ-PD™ PAG1 is a highly integrated 2-chip solution including PWM, SR, PD controller, all necessary protection circuitry, primary low side, SR, and VBUS FET drivers which allow significant savings in terms of BOM and board area. It comes with a certified USB-PD stack and supports field upgrades with free and fully compliant firmware. The controller's high degree of programmability makes EZ-PD™ PAG1 a flexible solution that can be easily tuned to customers' needs. The programming can be done using the included configuration utilities: EZ-PD™ configuration utility and PSoC™ programmer. Additionally, customers can benefit from the variety of ready-to-download reference designs to speed up their development cycles and thus reduce the time-to-market.
