PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen6 Unterkategorien
PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen6 is an Automotive Electronics Council (AEC) Q100 qualified Multi-touch Capacitive touchscreen and touchpad controller. The CYAT816X family of product is a high-performance solution for infotainment systems with small/medium (CYAT8165X) and large (CYAT8168X) touchscreens that delivers superior electromagnetic immunity to provide a perfect user experience with advanced features, such as glove touch, waterproofing, and CapSense® button support. It also includes Infineon’s register configurable methodology that provides tried and tested algorithms developed over >200 man years of automotive firmware development.
The PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen6 family supports screen sizes up to 15 inches, and thick gloves (5 mm), wet-finger tracking, as well as serial interfaces I2C and SPI and a refresh rate up to 250 Hz. Its available in different packages 128/100/64-pin TQFP as well as 56-pin QFN and in two temperature grades (A: –40°C to 85°C and S: –40°C to 105°C).
Key features and system benefits of PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen6
- PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen6 features a highly advanced 32-bit Arm® Cortex® CPU that supports register-configurable settings. It includes noise-suppression technologies for display and EMI, ensuring the optimal system performance even in noisy environments.
- It features water rejection and wet-finger tracking using DualSense™ technology, which allows it to function even when the screen is wet. The multitouch glove with automatic mode-switching and fingernail tracking provides high precision and accuracy, while the large-object rejection ensures that the system can differentiate between touch input and other objects.
- The Gen6 includes automatic baseline-tracking of environmental changes, enabling it to adapt to changes in temperature and humidity. Additionally, it supports field upgrades via bootloader, making it easy to upgrade the system's firmware.
- The system features touchscreen sensor self-test, enabling users to test the system's functionality and identify any issues. It also includes a low-power wakeup button (<50 µA) and low-power wake-on-touchscreen with a power consumption of 120 µA, ensuring the operation for extended periods on a single charge.
