Alle Unterkategorien schließen Alle Unterkategorien anzeigenThe PSOC™ 4 portfolio consists of several families of Arm® Cortex®-M0 and Cortex-M0+ microcontrollers, with a powerful combination of intelligent analog and programmable digital. It also includes wireless connectivity in its portfolio. Building on the robust analog capabilities of the PSOC™ 4, the family is further expanded to include the Analog Coprocessor.
In addition to its analog and digital capabilities, the PSOC™ 4 also features advanced sensing technologies, including fifth-generation CAPSENSE capacitive sensing, inductive sensing, and liquid level sensing. These technologies are designed to provide accurate and reliable sensing, and are offered as a Multi-Sense solution, which integrates all of these sensing technologies onto a single chip.
Achieve ultimate flexibility in your design with Infineon's software-defined peripherals embedded in the PSOC™ 4 architecture. Configure these peripherals using pre-built library functions or create your own using the programmable architecture inside of PSOC™ 4 devices:
Capacitive sensing
Infineon's CAPSENSE™ is the industry-leading capacitive-sensing solution for touch buttons and sliders, proximity sensing, and liquid-level sensing applications. CAPSENSE is a dedicated peripheral found across the entire PSOC™ 4 portfolio featuring state-of-the-art noise immunity and water rejection.
Inductive sensing
Infineon offers flexibility in its inductive solution, offering two distinct approaches, fly-back and LC tank inductive sensing. Either inductive technology can be used to design metal touch, force sensor, on/off switch or metal proximity sensor.
Multi-Sense
The PSOC™ 4's advanced sensing technologies such as CAPSENSE™, inductive sensing and liquid level sensing are integrated into a single solution known as Multi-Sense. The Multi-Sense solution offers a multiple possibilities for designers to create innovative applications, one example of this is hover touch where airgap based touch button interface is supported.
Programmable analog blocks
Customize your analog front end to interface to any analog sensor through programmable analog blocks, which are composed of an assortment of opamps, comparators, ADCs, and DACs, enabling complex analog signal flows. PSOC™ 4 can also eliminate the need for external analog components saving you time and money.
Programmable digital blocks
Programmable digital blocks are composed of Universal Digital Blocks (UDBs), Serial Communication Blocks (SCBs), and Timer/Counter/Pulse Width Modulators (TCPWM). These blocks can be configured to set up custom digital interfaces, state machines, and custom logic functions.
Wired and wireless connectivity
Wired connectivity interfaces, such as CAN and USB, are available in the PSOC™ 4 portfolio. For wireless connectivity, Bluetooth® low energy is also available. With an integrated balun for antenna matching, PSOC™ 4 Bluetooth® Low Energy simplifies RF board design and reduces PCB footprint. With example projects and development kits, as well as all Bluetooth® Low Energy profiles and APIs, you can get Bluetooth® Low Energy connectivity and running in a matter of minutes.
PSOC™ 4000 family - CAPSENSE™
The PSOC™ 4000 family is a cost-optimized, entry-level family of Arm® Cortex®-M0 and M0+ microcontrollers. The PSOC™ 4000 family delivers the industry’s best capacitive-sensing technology, CAPSENSE, along with other sensing technologies including inductive sensing and liquid level sensing.
PSOC™ 4100 family - CAPSENSE™ + programmable analog blocks
The PSOC™ 4100 family adds intelligent analog integration through programmable analog blocks. Programmable analog blocks include analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), low-power comparators, and operational amplifiers (opamps).
PSOC™ 4200 family - CAPSENSE™ + programmable analog blocks + programmable digital blocks
The PSOC™ 4200 family boosts the flexibility and performance of the PSOC 4 portfolio by adding programmable, Universal Digital Blocks (UDBs). UDBs can be configured to set up custom digital interfaces, state machines, and custom logic functions. The PSOC 4200BL includes an integrated Bluetooth® Low Energy radio and subsystem.
PSOC™ 4 Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) - Bluetooth® smart
PSOC™ 4 Bluetooth® Low Energy enables the universal connectivity consumers to look for in their wireless devices by adding a royalty-free Bluetooth® Low Energy Protocol Stack to the popular PSOC™ 4 portfolio.
PSOC™ Analog Coprocessor - Simplifies the design of sensor-based systems
The PSOC™ Analog Coprocessor enables designs to send aggregated, pre-processed and formatted sensor data over serial communication interfaces to host processors.
