Automotive LED front single light functions
DC-DC controllers/converters, MOSFETs for low-cost ECUs
Single-light functions can be driven by simple and cost-effective ECUs. Infineon offers robust and efficient solutions for single-channel LED driver applications.
Efficient and low-cost single-channel LED driver solutions
When it comes to single-light functions in LED front lighting systems, simplicity and cost effectiveness are key considerations. Often, these functions are driven by basic, low-cost electronic control units (ECUs) that may not even have a microcontroller or an individual turn-on signal. In such cases, standard DC-DC controllers or converters, as well as MOSFETs, are the components of choice. Infineon offers these essential components, ensuring reliable performance while keeping costs in check for your LED front lighting applications.

- Lighting applications are changing and there is the demand of more sophisticated pixel light sources. The new light sources need a different approach on the power supply and TLD5501-2QV covers the gap with the existing architectures. Moreover the TLD5501-2QV is also the preferred solutions for high intensity LED or Laser used in premium.
- To promote the device two evaluation boards are available. The device has been also included into DC-DC designer to reduce the design-in phase. Low level drivers are available to reduce the coding effort.
The TLD6098-2DPVB2G evaluation board is a dual-phase boost-to-ground switching power supply, which, under nominal conditions, can deliver a constant voltage of 43-52 V and a current of up to 7A.
