Automotive PSOC™ 4000
Reconfigurable platform architecture for a family of programmable embedded system controllers with an Arm® Cortex®-M0 CPU
The PSOC™ 4000 microcontroller family stands as the most compact member within the overarching PSOC™ 4 platform architecture. It ingeniously melds a microcontroller boasting of standard communication and timing peripherals with a cutting-edge capacitive touch-sensing system, known as CAPSENSE™, which consistently delivers top-tier performance. Furthermore, it integrates general-purpose analog capabilities.
In the realm of automotive applications, PSOC™ 4000 products exhibit full upward compatibility with their PSOC™ 4 platform counterparts, effectively catering to the demands of novel applications and design requirements. These automotive marvels feature a robust 32-bit MCU subsystem comprising a 48 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M0+ CPU, accommodating up to 32 KB of flash and 4 KB of SRAM. They also boast of RTC functionality, complete with WCO.
Features of our Automotive PSOC™ 4000 microcontroller family
The programmable analog blocks of the PSOC™ 4000 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M0 microcontrollers further enhance their versatility. This includes a 10-bit, 46.8 ksps single-slope (ADC), two low-power comparators (CMP), and a CAPSENSE™ block optimized for low-power operation, supporting both self- and mutual-capacitance sensing. Additionally, two 7-bit (IDAC) can be configured as a single 8-bit IDAC.
For digital prowess, these products are equipped with programmable digital blocks, encompassing five 16-bit timer/counter/pulse-width modulation (TCPWM) blocks and two serial communication blocks (SCB) that can flexibly serve as I2C, SPI, UART, or LIN interfaces.
They are available in 24-pin QFN and 28-pin SSOP packages, with up to 20 GPIOs for extensive connectivity options.
