Arm® Cortex®-M4 MCU for Industrial Automation and Metering Applications
S6E2G-Series are highly-integrated 32-bit microcontrollers with high performance and competitive cost. This series is based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4F processor with on-chip flash memory and SRAM. The portfolio includes high end communication modules such as IEEE 1588 compliant Ethernet, CAN, a hardware-based cryptographic assist module, serial communication interfaces (USB, UART, CSIO (SPI), I2C, LIN) and advanced control peripherals such as motor control timers, A/D converters, and a quadrature position/revolution counter.

- 244-µA/MHz active current with 2.7-V to 5.5-V operating voltage
- Up to 1 MB flash and 192 KB SRAM with a 16 KB flash accelerator
- Error-Correcting Code (ECC) support, hardware watchdog timer (WDT), low-voltage detect, and clock supervisor blocks for safety- critical applications
- Independent power domains
- 2x Multi-Function Timers (MFT)
- 6x Programmable Pulse Generators (PPG)
- 16x Base Timers, 2x Quadrature Position/Revolution Counters (QPRC)
- 1x Dual Timer, 1x Cyclical Redundancy Check (CRC), and 1x Watch Counter
- 10x channels of Multi-Function Serial (MFS) interfaces configurable as SPI, UART, I2C, or LIN
- 2x USB, 1x CAN, IEEE 1588 Ethernet, 1x SD Card Interface, 2x Smart Card Interfaces, I2S and External Bus Interfaces
- Built-in Cryptographic Assist hardware coprocessor for encryption
