Infineon's portfolio of MOTIX™ single half-bridge ICs
Infineon offers low- and high-current single half-bridges designed for use in automotive and industrial applications. It can be combined with additional MOTIX™ single half-bridge ICs to create an H-bridge or 3-phase bridge as well. Interfacing with a microcontroller is made easy by the integrated driver IC which features logic level inputs, diagnosis with current sense, slew rate adjustment, dead time generation and protection against overtemperature, undervoltage, overcurrent and short circuit.
Single half-bridge ICs for high-current PWM motor drive applications
The many protection and diagnosis features of the MOTIX™ single half-bridge ICs devices make them ideal for security relevant applications, like electronic parking brake, active suspension control or fuel pumps. Due to its durability and ease-of-use these devices are also ideal for electronic seatbelt pretensioners, T-Case, HVAC control module, and many more.
MOTIX™ BTN99x0LV ISO 26262-ready status
The ISO 26262-ready marking designates QM products that can – with additional analysis and evaluation support from Infineon – be integrated into a customer’s ISO 26262 compliant, safety-related application, even though they have not been designed or developed according to the ISO 26262 standards.
Infineon provides a Safety Application Note (SAN) for ISO 26262-ready devices that are designed to aid the customer through the evaluation process. This important document also contains valuable information to support the integration of the component into the customer’s safety-related system. Although it remains the customer’s responsibility to evaluate whether the product details are suitable and sufficient to support the integration within an ISO 26262 compliant system, the information provided in the SAN will significantly reduce the required effort.
What is myICP? And how to get access?
myInfineon platform, otherwise known as the MyICP is a portal through which you can access all the documentation related to Infineon’s products. While most documentation is accessible via Infineon’s website, confidential documents requiring Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) from customers can be accessed from MyICP.
Access to MyICP is granted in three basic steps:
- Step 1: Register to myInfineon platform.
Type in the necessary information in the registration form
Activate your account by clicking on the link in the e-mail sent to you
- Step 2: Become promoted user in myInfineon by contacting your Infineon counterpart or by clicking the promotion banner in the My Profile tab on myInfineon.
- Step 3: Get access to the required documentation.
Infineon Developer Community is available 24x7 for you to connect and network with engineers across the globe. Get help from Infineon support engineers, and expert members to solve your design challenges anytime, from anywhere, in any topic, and in your preferred language.
The PRO-SIL™ ISO 26262-ready marking designates QM products that can – with additional analysis and evaluation support from Infineon – be integrated into a customer’s ISO 26262 compliant, safety-related application, even though they have not been designed or developed according to the ISO 26262 standards.
The requirements specified in ISO 26262:2018 clauses 8-13 and 8-14 may be applied by customers to ensure that the device’s functional behavior is adequate to meet the allocated safety requirements for the application level. In general, PRO-SIL™ ISO 26262-ready parts support ISO 26262:2018 clause 8-13 class II hardware evaluation.
Infineon provides a Safety Application Note (SAN) for PRO-SIL™ ISO 26262-ready devices that is designed to aid the customer through the evaluation process.
