About SPIDER
SPIDER products are high-integrated multichannel SPI relay drivers for low-current loads, such as solenoids, LEDs, low-power bulbs, and stepper motors. SPIDER devices are designed to be used in automotive and industrial applications with dedicated feature sets. The SPIDER SPI driver IC family (TLE72x) consists of 4- and 8- channel low-side and 8- channel low-side/high-side drivers with two configurable channels. The output stages are controlled via an SPI Interface chip. The new SPIDER+ family (TLE75x) offers improved performance, higher flexibility (up to six configurable channels), and new channel partitioning (e.g., 8- channel high-side driver) vs. SPIDER.
Control is possible via standard SPI bus interface and 3.3 V or 5 V compatible logic. To ensure the highest functional safety, all nine devices have a failsafe (Limp Home) and cranking function implemented. A unique LED- derivate, available for high-side and flexible devices, provides additional features for LED and low-power bulb drives. All devices have small 150 mil packages (exposed pad).
About FLEX
FLEX is Infineon's multichannel SPI low-side power switch family for automotive powertrain, safety, and industrial applications. They are specially designed to drive a various range of loads from relays, injector valves, oxygen probe heaters, and general-purpose solenoids, up to uni-polar stepper motors. The FLEX family of SPI switch ICs has extensive scalability from four to eighteen channels.
About SPOC™ +2
SPOC™ +2 family is the latest generation of multichannel high-side smart power switches with SPI interface for automotive and industrial applications. It provides state-of-the-art diagnostics and protection features. This family offers four and six-channel devices with different RDS(on) values in TSDSO-24 exposed pad package. The current capability could be increased by parallelizing the outputs.
The SPI interface allows multiple loads to be controlled and diagnosed via a single microcontroller, which supports the current trends in the latest power distribution architectures, particularly towards zone architectures.
