Wolf-Dieter Bähre, Global Director Application Management Industrial Automation
Wolf-Dieter Baehre's experience encompasses industrial drives, motors, and machinery. He began his career in 1999 as Electro-Machine-Builder at Steinlen and holds a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Mechatronics and an MBA specializing in collaboration. He worked from 2005 at Danfoss Drives, progressing from service and service management through OEM system design and optimization to product marketing and management.
In 2022 he then joined Infineon as Global Director Application Marketing and Management Industrial Drives and nowadays is the Global Director of Application Management Industrial Automation.
Gabriel Cretu, Product Definition/Application Engineer for Industrial Isolated Gate Drivers
Gabriel Cretu has a MSc degree in Electronics Engineering with focus on microelectronics and IC Design. In 2012 he joined the Robert Bosch Center for Power Electronics as a research assistant, where he worked on a Measurement System for Power Semiconductor Characterization in the μs Range, as well as on a new high-speed driver for IGBT modules allowing improved switching efficiency.
He joined Infineon in 2017 as an ESD Engineer for automotive integrated power technologies and changed to the gate drivers technical marketing team in 2022, now supporting feasibility studies, application investigations and optimizations on new IC products.
