TRACE32® Tools
Lauterbach TRACE32® tools support you throughout the entire development process. For early project phases, we offer debugging and trace tools for virtual targets and an instruction set simulator. For the hardware development phase, we provide JTAG/DAP hardware debugger as well as high-speed serial trace extensions. For final-hardware tests, our debug and trace features are available via our XCP solution.
TRACE32® for AURIX™ TriCore™ Microcontroller
The TRACE32® tools are a set of hardware and software tools for debugging, tracing and simulation of embedded systems. Key features are:
- Debugging of all TriCore™ CPUs as well as debugging of all auxiliary controllers like PPU, GTM, SCR, HSM and PCP
- Debug port sharing via 3rd party tools
- PIL simulation
- Multicore (instruction, data) and on-chip busses and interconnects tracing
- Support for all trace methods: On-chip trace, DAP streaming and AGBT/SGBT high-speed serial trace
- AUTOSAR, operating system and hypervisor-aware debugging and tracing
- Code coverage analysis for functional safety

Tool qualification for ISO 26262
In particular for automotive applications, Lauterbach provides the Tool Qualification Support Kit (TQSK) to simplify tool qualification for ISO 26262 compliance.
