Infineon Technologies Romania has established strong partnerships with major technical universities across Romania: University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi.
Infineon Romania’s cooperation with universities covers all levels of a tertiary education ─ undergraduate to post-graduate, enriching curricula with topics pertaining the semiconductor development domain, offering lectures as well as Master and PhD programs and offering scholarships to outstanding students interested in specializing in fields pertaining to its domain.
Beyond, in view of promoting education, research and development in the microelectronic field, Infineon Romania has supported to establish labs with access for students at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi.
Furthermore, the Infineon Development Center in Bucharest partners with universities in carrying out joint research and development projects at public as well as at private level.
